Purplewire Develops Air Innovations Web Site

12/11/2001 - Purplewire has designed and implemented a new web site for Air Innovations, a leading developer of niche-market air conditioning and refrigeration products.

In June, 2001, Air Innovations became the parent name for Floratech Industries and Cleanroom Systems, Inc., two established companies specializing in niche market air conditioning and refrigeration products. With the formation of the new umbrella company came the need to develop a web site that provides information about all the products it encompasses. Purplewire, with its experience in web design and development, was recruited for the job.

The site incorporates Purplewire's dynamic Press Release content management facility, which allows Air Innovations to keep the news items, with animated headlines seen on the homepage, up to date using a standard web browser.

Purplewire was started as the Application Technology Center, a division of Syracuse Research Corp (SRC) in 1996, and was spun off as an independent company on February 22, 2001. Purplewire develops and operates interactive web facilities specializing in secure, transactional e-business applications.
