DEALS™ Begins Pilot Phase

1/15/2002 - DEALS™ (or Development, Expansion and Location Solutions™), one of Purplewire's latest development projects, began its pilot phase in December with roughly 100 beta sites around the country.

DEALS™, a product of DEALTEK®, Ltd, is a revolutionary web-based project modeling/management system that is accessible to corporate facility planners, economic development professionals, and third-party consultants through a subscription usage model. The highly sophisticated system consists of a 3,100-plus location database of demographic and economic information, a project workflow component built around an electronic project filing system, a financial modeling module with numerous computational algorithms and presentation tools, and subscription management tools necessary to handle the new business.

Purplewire was selected by DEALTEK® in the summer of 2001 for the development of its new product. The product is scheduled to go live in February, at the end of its pilot phase.
