Purplewire Helps BlueStar’s Partners Increase
Lead-Generated Sales
Syracuse, N.Y., July 1, 2003 – BlueStar
Inc. implemented Purplewire’s
channelLEADS™, one of four modules available through channelSUITE™,
a PRM (partner relationship management) software solution. ChannelLEADS
improves the quality, delivery efficiency, and the dealer support
of leads. As leads are generated, they can be exported into channelLEADS
from call center software. Then the leads are automatically routed
to a partner based on compatibility and location. Once the partner
is automatically notified by channelLEADS, the vendor/distributor
(BlueStar) can track the progress of the leads and provide support
for their partner.
With channelLEADS, BlueStar consistently passes leads to the most
qualified partner, provides more lead data to its partners, tracks
leads through the sales process, and monitors the effectiveness
of the marketing strategies that generated the leads. According
to Philip Manro, director of sales and marketing for Purplewire,
this collaboration impacts BlueStar’s channel partners as
well. “Partners get leads quicker in a format they understand,
and can follow-up on leads online automatically. This adds value
to both partner and distributor/vendor,” says Manro.
